About The Author: Lareda Neves
I love to study the Bible! Before God showed me how to study His Word all I could do was to read it. One day I found Jeremiah 24:7 which says, "And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD ... " Also, John 17:3 which says, "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ ... "
There are two themes running through this book: 1. The importance of knowing God, and 2. How to study the Bible. God impressed me to know how to study the Bible. The Principles of Bible Study is the result of what He taught me. I have given classes at camp meetings, churches and to individuals. I taught a man and his wife how to study the Bible and when I finished the man said, "You didn't give me fish. You taught me how to fish."
My goal is to teach people to be like the Bereans, who the Bible says, "Were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so." Acts 17:10-11. May you find the joy of Bible Study as you come to know and love Jesus, your Savior, through The Principles of Bible Study.
